Named after a deepwater strait with incredible history just 30 minutes outside of New Orleans, Rigolets means trench in French. The Rigolets supply salt water from the Gulf of Mexico to the expansive Lake Pontchartrain estuary, and along with the sea water comes redfish, speckled trout, largemouth bass, black drum, jack crevalle, sheepshead and tarpon - creating a veritable fish highway and some of the best fishing in the state. Whether it's a speckled trout breaching the surface for a topwater, a redfish sliding down the bank, or a jumping jack exploding like a bowling ball dropped from the sky, there is never a dull moment here.*
Just as the strait is small and narrow, Rigo is designed with a small fit for narrow faces (and anglers who love to tackle crazy big things). Complete with vented, sun blocking side shields and ergo rubber details in all the right places, these full wrap shades also feature our patent pending polarized, blue light blocking lenses with LAPIS technology for crisp, clear fish spotting vision.
